The ships crest is depicted as a set of seven keys, they are a reference to the seven lochs that are supposedly connected by Loch Fada. There is in fact eight areas known as Loch Fada. Fada is the Gaelic word for “long” and loch is lake. The only one Loch Fada that seems to fit this theory and that is the one in the Letterewe Estate, Ross, Scotland Ordinance Survey Map Square NG Grid Ref 917863
